Community CPS Australia is one of the country’s largest and most influential credit unions, with more than 580 employees and 185,000 members across South Australia, the Australian Capital Territory, Western Australia, the Hunter Valley and Wagga Wagga.
communikate et al has worked with Community CPS Australia since 2003, primarily managing the credit union’s publicity and media activities at that stage. With the growth of Community CPS the scope of communikate et al’s involvement also grew, now including issues and crisis management, strategic advice, merger communications as well as PR and media management.
communikate et al’s ongoing work with Community CPS includes:
- Managing publicity and media activities in all markets in which Community CPS operates
- Coordinating and managing interstate affiliates
- Issues management
- Media training for members of the executive team
- Providing communications strategies both on an ongoing basis as well as for special projects, including mergers and social media
- Copy writing
- PR road shows and media briefings
- Internal communications
- Working with the credit union’s advertising agency on overarching campaigns
communikate et al works both on the ground - generating media coverage and coordinating interviews - as well as behind the scenes - providing strategic advice and preparing for potential issues the credit union may face as a financial institution.
Supporting Community CPS’ values and key messages, communikate et al generates local and national media coverage regarding the credit union’s commitment to the community, its members and staff, as well as introducing new products and providing financial advice to everyday Australians, no matter what stage of life they are in.
Since the beginning of the relationship in 2003, communikate et al has developed a strong partnership with Community CPS, assisting the credit union with communications activities and strategies on all operational levels.
